UPCOMING ELECTION INFORMATION

PRIMARY ELECTION – MARCH 6, 2012

VOTER REGISTRATION

The deadline for voter registration is February 6, 2012 at 9 p.m.  The Board Office will be open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. for the deadline. 

ABSENTEE VOTING

Absentee voting will begin no earlier than January 31, 2012.  During this first week, it is recommended that voters contact the Board Office prior to coming in to vote.  Applications for absentee ballots must be received in-person by the Board of Elections no later than Friday, March 2, 2012 at 6 p.m.

Extended office hours for voting:

Monday, February 6^th – 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Friday, March 2^nd – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Applications by mail for absentee ballots must be received by the Board of Elections no later than Saturday, March 3, 2012 at noon.

All in-country absentee ballots must be postmarked with a date not later than March 5, 2012 or delivered in person to the Board of Elections no later than  7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
