GENERAL ELECTION – NOVEMBER 4, 2008

FILING DEADLINE

Filing Deadline for Question and Issues and Local Option Petitions is August 21, 2008 at 4:00 p.m.

VOTER REGISTRATION

The deadline for voter registration is October 6, 2008 at 9 p.m.  The Board Office will be open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. for the deadline.

ABSENTEE VOTING

Absentee voting will begin no earlier than September 30, 2008.  During this first week, it is recommended that voters contact the Board Office prior to coming in to vote.

Applications by mail for absentee ballots must be received by the Board of Elections no later than Saturday, November 1, 2008 at noon.

All in-country absentee ballots must be received by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
