The following is the
policy and procedure for Public Records Requests: |

1 |
When Public Records Requests are received at the Washington County
Board of Elections they need to be time and date stamped. All
requests must be prepaid if the requestor is not at the counter to
pay for them as they are filled. |

The
following charges apply to Public Records Requests: |

For
verbal requests, our board has adopted a policy that all requests
must be recorded so the intent of the request is clear. The board
will then have a record of the receipt time and date. |

The
public records requests will be filled in a timely manner. We ask
for cooperation during periods near an election. |
